  • 2010-Jericho-Cabernet

    2011 Jericho Cabernet

A beautiful expression of the property, this wine is an achievement demonstrating the unwavering quality of Jericho Canyon’s fruit. In this unusual vintage, the canyon proved to be an ideal haven for our vines: our rocky soils dispersed morning showers while westerly breezes dried the wetted canopies. Under the guidance of consulting winemakers, Michel Rolland and Aaron Pott, we selected choice estate lots for this flagship wine. Still in its youth, the wine already exhibits luscious layered textures, elegantly integrated tannins, and a captivating bouquet of ripe asian plum, rich dark fruits, creme de cassis, and delicate floral high notes.

  • 2011-Jericho-Creek-Cabernet

    2011 Jericho Creek Cabernet

Rich toffee, graphite, and bright raspberry on the nose. Well developed tannins blending seamlessly into an elegant, balanced, yet powerful Cabernet. An incredibly food friendly wine, the 2011 Creek Cabernet reminds us that Cabernet truly can pair well with most anything. Drink tonight with pan seared pork chop or lay it down for 15 years, this wine will do you well.

  • Chimera

    2012 Chimera

The Chimera is a mythical beast enjoying the wings of Pegasus, the body of a lion, the tail of a serpent, and the fire breathing head of a dragon. Our Chimera is a proprietary blend harnessing the individuality and strengths inherent to each of our estate grown Bordeaux varietals; the result is a wildly imaginative, dazzling representation of the property.

Benefitting from 2012’s near perfect growing season, winemaking team Nicholas Bleecher, Aaron Pott, & Michel Rolland gently guided the fruit, harvesting at peak physiological maturity, whole cluster fermenting only the most perfect berries, and meticulously monitoring a partially native fermen- tation. Cave aged 22 months in 100% French oak barrels, this inaugural vintage will serve as a benchmark for all future vintages.

Rich, dark color, penetrating flavors of black cherry, summer blackberries, fig, and a hint of vanilla pepper linger in balance with complex aromatics of vanilla creme brulee, plump fig, hints of cedar, and subtle earth. Velvety yet firm tannins will see the wine cellar gracefully in the years to come.
